~ All for him!! ~


'Ethics and family values' was his favorite topic.
He had already delivered 450+ lectures on this.
As he was reaching his 500th one,
his old frail father was still waiting in the old age home in his home town, somewhere in Kerala.
He was basking in the glory of applauses he was being showered with at this special ceremony at this 5-star in Mumbai;
Thousands of hands were in the air,
Full of praises and appreciastion,
And,
Full of life,
All for him !
Meanwhile, his cell phone, that was on silent mode, as per his own 'set of rules',
was flashing a weak beam denoting 48th missed call,
All from the same old age home!
Now the corpse of his father was in the Municipality Mortuary.
Where 'it', along with his attendant had been waiting for the well-bred son,
Since morning!
The morning since when he had been busy,
Busy, preparing to deliver a lecture on 'Deteriorating Levels of Ethics and Morality' (with emphasis on care for the old age Parents)!
Here, in his home town, his own father died a silent death!
His hands, too, were extended, yet,
With handful of expectations, (pertaining to last rites only, probably)
But, with no life, now,
Yet again,
'All for him!!'
